Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PhotoFixr mobile application (the “App”), operated by Lilin Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use PhotoFixr on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.

2. Your photos and content

You keep all rights to the photos you restore with PhotoFixr. You are responsible for the images you submit, and by using the App you confirm that you own them or otherwise have the rights and permissions needed to upload and restore them. You must not use the App to process images that are unlawful, that infringe someone else's rights, or that depict another person without the consent required in your jurisdiction.

You grant us only the limited, temporary permission necessary to process your photo and return your restored result — for example, transmitting it to our AI processor to perform the restoration. We do not use your photos to train AI models and do not retain them after processing, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

When using PhotoFixr, you agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or that you don't have the right to use;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or the services that power it;
  • Use the App to create misleading or deceptive imagery intended to harm others; or
  • Use the App in violation of any applicable law or the App Store's rules.

4. AI output is not guaranteed

PhotoFixr uses artificial intelligence to restore, colorize, unblur, and repair photos. AI results are inherently variable and are provided “as is” without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or quality. Outcomes depend heavily on the condition of the original image — severely damaged, extremely blurry, or very low-detail photos may produce imperfect results, may not recover detail that isn't present in the source, and may alter how a subject appears. You should review every result before relying on it. AI-restored images are creative reconstructions and may differ from the original scene or subject.

5. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

PhotoFixr offers a free tier with a limited number of restorations, an optional auto-renewing Pro subscription, and one-off credit packs. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are governed by Apple's applicable terms. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's App Store account settings.
  • Prices, available plans, and credit-pack contents may change; any change applies to future purchases or renewals.

6. Refunds

Because purchases are handled by Apple, refunds are subject to Apple's policies and are requested through Apple. Except where required by law or expressly provided by Apple, payments are non-refundable, and we do not separately provide refunds beyond Apple's policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and all results are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any restoration will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lilin Systems and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, images, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; when we do, we'll update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of PhotoFixr after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm others or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute arising out of or relating to the App, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
